Gender Change Fields Registry entry
Specifies which fields in a Births record are not copied to the new Births record when a Gender Change is processed.
Note: Only for use by the Newfoundland and Labrador Vital Statistics Division.
When a Gender Change is processed in the Births module, a new Births record is created with all fields copied over from the original Births record except for those specified in this Registry entry (any fields specified in this entry are cleared in the new Births record). As soon as the Gender Change is processed, the status of the original Births record changes to GENDERCHANGE
and the status of the new Births record changes to CURRENT
. A link is created between the two records on the Gender Change tab.
